Paperback Publisher: Dreamspinner Press Geoff is in the city, living the gay life to the hilt, when his father's death convinces him to return to the family farm. Discovering a young Amish man asleep in his barn, Geoff learns that Eli is spending a year away from the community before accepting baptism into the church. Despite their mutual attraction, Geoff is determined not to become involved with him, but Eli has discovered that Geoff shares his feelings and begins to court him, neatly capturing first Geoff's attention and then his heart. Their budding relationship is threatened by closed-minded, gossipy relatives and the society at large, a whole new world to Eli, and he must decide whether to return to the community, his family, and the world and future he knows or to stay with Geoff and have faith in the power of love.

This is a truely great story loved the characters and how they were brought to life. I'm reading the prequel now. Love Means Courage. Which in my opinion should be read first to give you more insite for This book. Love Means No Shame. but ...thats just my opinion. Both are very good reads. I hope it becomes a series of books with the characters moving along with each new book.

| Good plot, thin tale. |

This book attracted me by its story line. It is true that the plot is a good one but too much of the novel is undeveloped. For example, deep, meaningful conversations are only three sentences long; conflicts with a hostile aunt and misinformed neighbours are resolved in less than a page. So much needs to be fleshed out if the characters are to be believable. The author lavishes far too much attention on the sex scenes and not enough on the rest of the book. An engaging tale but needing expansion.

A NICE LOVE STORY. RASIED BY HIS FATHER AND FATHERS'S LOVER, GOEFF COMES HOME FROM THE CITY TO TAKE CARE OF HIS FATHERS WILL AND TO SELL THE FARM. HE FALLS IN LOVE WITH THE FARM AND DECIEDS TO STAY FOR A WHILE.
FINDING ELI IN THE BARN ONE AFTERNOON HE INVITES HIM INTO THE HOUSE TO GET WARM AND SLEEP. GOEFF TAKES A LIKING TO ELI AND GIVES HIM THE GUEST ROOM. WORKING TOGETHER THEY FALL FOR EACH OTHER.AS TIME EVOLVES, THEY FORM A RELATIONSHIP AND BECOME LOVERS. ELI LEAVES WITH NO NOET OR NOTICE. WILL HE RETURN?
I AM NOT OWN THAT WILL WRITE REVIEWS. IF YOU ENJOY MA TO MAN SSEX AND FARMS, RANCH, COWBOYS STYLE YOU'LL MOST LIKELY ENJOY THIS READ.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It provided a moving story and some great life lessons to be learned. Easy to relate to in many ways. All of us have been challenged with deciding what's right for us, at one time or another, and following through with our decisions.
