Paperback
Publisher: Alyson Books

The ineptly intrepid sleuthing team from One Dead Diva returns! Marc, a 50-ish opera queen, and his young, ditsy dancer friend Paul find themselves working at a gay resort off the coast of Queensland, run by Newton Heath, a friend of Marc's. All goes as expected as Marc continues to drop whatever he hasn't already forgotten and Paul madly chases the guests, but when Newton is murdered our boys have a new mystery on their hands!

Phillip Scott, a lifelong resident of Sydney, Australia, has written and -performed in satirical reviews at the Edinburgh Festival and in London and has also worked as a musical director for David Campbell, Rowan Atkinson and Lily Savage and even once accompanied Bea Arthur. He is the author of two other Marc and Paul mysteries, One Dead Diva and Get Over It!

Customer Reviews:

Worth reading
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
An enjoyable read, it sucked me in and held me there like a (add simile of choice). Quirky spelling a plus.

Funny but ...
Customer Rating: 3 out of 5
not as good as ONE DEAD DIVA. Read that one first to get into the protagonists (Marc and Paul).
Mr. Scott is talented and I await the American release of the third volume in the series.
One point he or his editors should note: I'd strongly prefer leaving the text in the original "Australian"! However, if they're hell bent on converting it to
"Standard American", don't do so halfway with a "harbor" here and a "neighbour" there.
Whoever oversaw that aspect of the production did an obviously slipshod job. I deducted one star for that.
