Live music and entertainment, introduction of the new Board of Directors and Executive Director, tours of “Día de los Muertos” exhibit. $40 individual, $75 per couple, $25 students with valid ID or at door for an additional $5. 6 - 10 p.m. National Museum of Mexican Art, 1852 W. 19th. Atomic Sketch Event

As Chicago Artists' Month concludes, the monthly Atomic Sketch Event continues its tradition of engaging events centered around the process of art-making and creating community between artists and art enthusiasts. During each Atomic Sketch Event, artists create a variety of original new works and sell them for extremely affordable prices. In many cases, artists whose studio work sells for hundreds or even thousands of dollars will sell pieces for less than $50.
